The Owen Theatre

A timeless work, the rock opera is set against the backdrop of an extraordinary and universally known series of events but seen, unusually, through the eyes of Judas Iscariot. Loosely based on the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, Superstar follows the last week of Jesus Christ’s life. The story, told entirely through song, explores the personal relationships and struggles between Jesus, Judas, Mary Magdalene, his disciples, his followers and the Roman Empire.

Our Evenings of Magic are amazingly fun and consist of "clean" family-friendly entertainment presented once a month starring the same magicians that you have seen on network television , cruise ships around the world, comedy clubs, and casino showrooms around the country.

This exciting event will feature films made by local directors, producers, and actors, including several premieres, short films, and documentaries that showcase the stories of local people and places.

This important civic event provides voters, business leaders, and community members the opportunity to hear directly from the City Council candidates about their vision, priorities, and plans for the future of Conroe.

A touchingly honest and, sometimes, zany look at the challenges of aging, and the adult children who must walk the fine line of parenting their parents.
